Let us imagine a bright library, with comfortable armchairs and welcoming spaces for discussion. It is a place where technology does not replace human interaction, but rather enriches it. This is the spirit with which we should approach the implementation of the digital curriculum: not as a mere addition of technological tools, but as an opportunity to enhance collaboration, creativity, and critical thinking. Digital technology, in fact, should not diminish the value of dialogue and direct human relationships. On the contrary, it should be a means to strengthen the learning community, fostering relationships, encouraging co-design, and stimulating new forms of interaction
To support this journey, we provide examples of educational activities designed according to the guidelines of DigComp 2.2 and DigCompEdu. These activities can be downloaded and used directly in the classroom, offering practical ideas for integrating digital tools in an effective and balanced way.
But it’s not just about resources: the true value lies in the community that uses them, adapts them, and enriches them with its own experience. Being part of a community of practice means growing together, sharing doubts and successes, finding inspiration in the work of colleagues, and offering one’s own contribution.
‘Learning is a social practice that finds its natural place in communities of practice.’ – Etienne Wenger”**
